Daisies kissed by fairies,

pink lipstick petals pout,

little girl’s tiaras,

chains, lambs tails, about.

Buttercups stars shimmer,

spreading love and peace,

a golden, gay, glimmer,

graces chins beneath.

Forget me not – shy,

skirts the edge of the lawn,

coy, courting compassion,

for those whom we mourn.

The dandelions ire!

He’s banished from beds,

his anger like fireworks,

explode in his heads!

Plumping pillows

Inviting sleep so

Lay down your head

Let dreams dance

Over your soul

Waltzing with the angels ‘til

Sunrise wakes slumber

English: Drawing of cat wearing pants

A lady of a certain age,

adjusts her wardrobe,

to engage.

According to her needs;

to please her comport,

and ease discomfort.

That’s why I am,

wearing big pants today;

in order that I can,

Keep warm my back,

and show no crack –

the days long gone,

of scanty clad,

and frilly frills,

dressed to thrill,

send passionate pulses

palpitating – No!

I’m wearing big pants today,

and – just in case…

Of what, I know not,

I’ve packed two extra pairs!

Rain falls,

bird calls,

flaming June,

storms straight through,

summer winds,

never ends,

grey skies,

no flies!

Grass wet –

you bet!

Rivers flood,

the garden’s mud,

no picnics planned,

yet hosepipes banned.

Summer blues,

still in shoes,

woollies on,

summer’s gone!

Show your sorrow,

tears and all.

Throw down the rain,

let torrents fall.

Show your anger,

in thunderous roar,

roll round the skies,

and then send more.

Show your fury,

with electric strikes,

lightening lights,

with bolts that smite.

I grieve your death,

and so do you.

I see your storms,

the summer through.

Climbing Jacob’s ladder,

reaching for the stars,

flirting with the moonbeams,

it makes us who we are.

Sliding down the rainbows,

and bouncing off the clouds,

dancing with the fireflies,

as thunder sings out loud.

Lightening Skies illuminate,

standing on high peaks,

flying with the eagles,

all within mans’ reach.

With knitted Kasas,

we’re on retreat,

we’re not in the Order,

but we’ve reserved a seat!

We’re not a Chapter,

not quite yet,

we’re just a paragraph –

On your marks get set!

I’ve bought my ticket,

I’m going 1st Class!

Setting out on this quest,

on this lives long path.

My past is a story,

an interesting read,

but I’m leaving my baggage,

of which I don’t need.

I look through the window,

recognise all I see,

the Buddha land scenery,

familiar to me.

The weather is clement,

worldly winds have calmed,

the passengers valiant,

Dharma Sister’s at alms.

I’m enjoying the journey,

no rush to get there;

with guide book in hand,

and the wind in my hair!

We stop at the station,

other travellers alight,

we’re sharing this vision,

Enlightenment in sight.

Matterhorn (4,478 m, Walliser Alps, East side)...

I look in the mirror,

and what do I see?

A face staring back,

that’s simply not me.

I open my heart,

and what do I find?

A limitless space,

compassionate and kind.

I open my mouth,

and what tumbles out?

Harmonious words,

with truth and no doubt.

I search in my head,

what goes on in there?

A radiant mind,

pure, like clear mountain air.
