You’re a liar!
With your stories –
You don’t know,
what the truth is.
Half told truths,
little white lies,
you’ve added the spin,
to your fantasies.
It’s had to keep up,
as you chatter away,
I don’t believe
a word you say.
Romanticise.
That’s what they say,
for the lies you tell,
and how you behave.
You don’t see the damage,
left in your wake,
destroying lives,
the tongue of a snake.
Now listen to me!
and there’s the rub,
there’s nothing romantic,
in what you’ve become.

I wonder how ya could just manipulate feelings so well and put them in words 🙂
I am mesmerized 🙂
Love,
Naima.
Thank you Naima!
It starts with a memory or a feeling and grows from there.
Some poems I can write immediately, some take a little time to nurture, and other poems are just like a thorn in your paw – they irritate you for ages and are very difficult to get out – when you have extracted the thorny poem it is a relief!! 😀
And do you know one thing? This way ya are able to extract all the thorns across the world and leaving the people with mere bliss by sharing your thoughts!
I loved your work 🙂
Cheers! 🙂
Oh ))blush(( thank you so much – what a kind and generous thing to say 🙂
You owe it love 🙂
