I read my old love poems,
the other day,
they made me look desperate,
in a cloying kind of way.
What was I thinking,
when I wrote those?
Possessive and needy,
I cringe to my toes.
I really did love you,
of that there’s no doubt,
but it seems quite absurd,
now, the way it came out.
Although I look back,
I was only a child,
I think that I thought,
I was dangerous and wild!

Thank you!
Love, young love. There is never anything quite like it, again. Delirious, besotted, never to be repeated in quite the same way. Beautiful words. Virgina
Thank you Virginia – a much more eloquent way of describing it, than ever I could!

Dear one NEVER negate what you write. It is a gift. Virginia
