You made the same mistake as her;
the truth is staring you in the face,
screaming so loud, you cannot see,
that you walk to the same dark place.
You’ve ventured down this path before
too far, turn back, embrace the pain
shame and defeat, walk hand in hand.
Is it too late to start all over again,
and to make the same mistake as her?

never too late…never too late
I hope not – but I fear it is
popped on over from the Facebook link, and am so glad I did. Very nice read, thank you!
Oh thank you very much! I was beginning to wonder if there was any value in the facebook page – you have just redeemed it !!

I feel the same way…always wondering if the time I put in there is worth it at all..hard to know, isn’t it?
Have a great Wednesday!

Thank you very much indeed! I’m always delighted if anything I write makes someone reflect! 🙂
Strikes a chord…
Thank you 🙂
Your poetry amazes me 🙂 Enthralling! And I agree with David ~ Never too late.
Aw thank you Gina!! 😀
Why, why, why can’t we learn. Why do we make those same mistakes. One day, one day we’ll reconize the trap. Nice writing.
Thank you very much indeed. I agree, only with maturity and hindsight can we truly reflect 🙂
