Do you ever wonder,
every time you read,
if this is about you and,
the way you have behaved?
Can you twist the words around,
to fit your circumstance?
Does your heart still skip a beat,
as the butterflies start to dance?
Does it not occur to you,
to stop and take a look,
if I’ve named and shamed you,
and put you in my book?
Should you stop to think a while,
and maybe even ponder,
if my words refer to you,
do you ever wonder?

Me too! Carly Simon comes to mind: “You’re so vain, you probably think this song is about you.” teehee 😀
