november

Jack Frost

bites toes

west winds

redden nose

solid puddles

don’t trip!

fleecy boots

non-slip

woolly  mittens

snuggle fingers

rosy cheeks

breath lingers

icy weather

November blasts

shivering cold

winter lasts

Farewell cruel world,

I’m leaving you,

it’s not a cold,

I’ve got the ‘flu.

It may well be,

my final breath,

my nose is red,

I feel like death.

Please don’t mourn,

when I am gone,

go on without me…

soldier on!

I’ve got Chills

English: Promethazine-codeine cough syrup

Heavy eyes,

heavy heart,

dragon throat,

sense departs,

fire in nose,

eyes, small holes,

cactus swallow,

bones feel hollow.

Seasonal cold,

I feel old…

ache – top to toes,

dripping nose.

That’s how it goes…

Want my duvet,

don’t feel groovy,

need my bed,

I feel half dead!
