How I wish,
you were around,
to keep my feet,
upon this ground,
to clip my wings,
and whisper this…
Life’s a play –
protagonist,
don’t give up,
and don’t give in,
it’s just a game,
that no one wins.

[ Smiles ] You are welcome!
An up beat that ends on a dark note. I enjoyed reading.
Thank you 🙂 I will shoe your comment to my son – he doesn’t believe I can do upbeat! He says I’m an eeyore poet – all doom and gloom hehe 🙂
