[ Smiles ] A lovely poem.
It has been a while since I have seen you on my “Reader”. I genuinely hope that things are great with you and that your weekend is shaping up fine.
Aw thanks for noticing my absence 🙂
I am hoping to start posting some new material soon – I’ve been really busy with work and house renovations. I am really missing my wordpress family 🙂
[ Smiles ] And I can safely say that they all miss you a lot!
Awww shucks – you’ve making me ))blush(( hehe 🙂
Knitting poems! I wish I knew how to! 😀
Well I’m sure poems can be sculpted, painted, drawn, or grown too 🙂
I have always been fascinated with words.
One of the things that inspired me to learn English more diligently was the song “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” by Elton John. The lyrics were just so beautiful (I translated it with the help of a dictionary).
I promised myself that I would learn more words, so that one day I could understand the lyrics of many, many songs. 😀
Well you write English perfectly 🙂 and what an inspiring way to learn English through lyrics 🙂
Brilliant concept, marvellous metaphor, fitting language and a classic denouement. Great work – well done.
Thank you very much Mike – I would never ‘cast off’ your comments, they are always most appreciated 🙂
Brilliant to compare writing poetry to knitting.
groetjes, Francina
After writing this poem I was told about a Dylan Thomas poem that was knitted – here’s the link – how brilliant!!
