Cuddling you,
is like a mathematical equation.
All elbows and angles,
spoonerisms and square brackets.
Just as a
parent he sis-
te-math-ically
square routes,
and exponentially
asterisks the mattress,
to become algebra
beyond my comprehension;
yet squared and integrated,
your obtuse, hypotenuse,
is surely a sine
that we can tessellate,
calculate and co-ordinate,
affirmative action,
and solve
an alternative angle,
between curves.
The geometry of
cardinal em-braces,
satisfies the
conjugated,
conjugal,
bed.

Never in history has math been so much fun to read Alex….
and yeah.. cuddles are the best indeed π
I agree – once you have negotiated the elbows and angles!!
I’m glad you enjoyed it π
Gosh, Alex, I was never any good at math … but had there been poems like this about maybe I’d have ‘got it’! π
Especially if Captain Jack Sparrow was thrown into the equation π
heh-heh π
Never thought cuddles have a different way to think in….nice
Hehe oh yes they do π
I like i found it is funny π
Ah thank you – I’m glad you liked it π
Most excellent…maybe you can offer your writing services to Big Bang Theory!
Mmmm – I don’t think Sheldon would approve!!
Fantastic writing.
Thank you very much – it was a calculated risk π
What a fantastic metaphor! You’ve really hit on something new and fresh here…
Thank you very much π
Love this Alex…I love these lines:
your obtuse, hypotenuse,
is surely a sine
that we can tessellate,
calculate and co-ordinate,
I had lots of fun playing with this – there were so many fabulous mathematical phrases that I could have gone on and on and on!!!
Very clever!
almost calculating π
LOL!!! π
π
Cleverly calculated into poetic passages…
Thank you π
It was a fun write, and I could have played with this theme for ages π
oh, what fun you had with this… do like the math edge
Thank you very much – yes it made a pleasant change from my usually dark poems π
This post is quite inventive! Enjoyed it very much… Thanks for visiting my neck of the woods, hope you’ll return.
Take care,

Hello Skip – thank you π
I’m sure I will be popping by from time to time π
As I will at you place. BTW, I stunk at algebra in school. I passed with a “c-” because my teacher was also the football coach!

C- that is a good pass! I loved maths, but we always had excellent teachers. I used to think of them as a puzzle or a mystery to solve. I was the Miss Marple of the Maths world π
A great story, and attitude! Kids should pay attention to that example!
Enjoy your weekend,
Skip
You too Skip π
Thank you, I’ll try to do just that!
