Learn to keep quiet,
and learn to keep still,
‘cause no one can hear you,
and nobody will.
Learn to be silent,
and watch what you say,
it’s not all about you,
it’s not, ‘Alex Day’.
No one is interested,
in all that you do,
no one is bothered,
except, maybe you?

.. and it’s just so true 🙂
Yes it is for me too 🙂
Ahhhh. Lot of truth here. What matters to us matters to us! Can’t count on others to see it as strongly
Exactly! I still constantly need to remind myself of this!
I am living it
Well – we’re on the same path because I am too 🙂
An interesting poem Alex ~ my thoughts go along these lines ~ it may be true that few people are interested ‘in all that you do’, that would just be weird ~ but there are some things that others would be bothered about ~ for sure if we remain silent then no-one will hear us ~ what’s behind it?
Very true! It is more of a reminder to stay quiet and listen more – it’s a good way to learn. It’s about shedding off the victim mentality and being a part of the wider world –
‘All the suffering in the world comes from obsession with ourselves. All the joy in the world comes from goodwill for others. Why say more? The fool looks out for his own benefit. The sage acts for the benefit of all. Just look at the difference between them!’
Beautiful words and so true. We must devorce our ego
Wish yoy a nice day : )
Greetings, Summer
Thank you very much indeed 🙂
