Giving up and,
giving in…
a writers’ pain,
a lovers’ dream.
Blue moons come,
and blue moons go,
the pain remains,
of losing you.
The thought of,
having you no more,
is like the song,
without the score.
To give you up,
without a doubt?
but only when,
the blue moon’s out.

love the blue moon imagery
Aha! You’re back!!! I was beginning to think you had vanished to the moon! Fabulous to have you back and I hope you are well 😀
I agree with David… blue moon … nice imagery.
Thank you 🙂
I’m glad it carries across 🙂
We couuldn’t see our blue moon, was it last week? Too much cloud cover … we were so disappointed … but hasn’t it stimulated some fab poetry 🙂
Yes it was last week and we couldn’t see it either. I had this blue moon poem floating around for a while – I should have been more organised and tried to post it last week!!!
🙂
