Oh tortuous night
how thou hast
defeated me.
Whilst Angels sleep
against a weeping moon
the painful pull
of sleeps flirtations.
Does thou bring soon
comfort and release
from dark hells hounds
with murderous intent.
Oh tortuous night
now thou hast
defeated me.

Crazy, but I have nights like that, sometimes.
I go through weeks where I can’t sleep and then everything changes again!! Thanks for reading and commenting 🙂
i know many a night I could have recited that one!
Oh yes! It should become the anthem for Insomniacs!! 🙂
On a bed or bedroom like this,
insomnia will have no place to hide.
Thanks for this post, Alex!
Hehe thank you – I’m not sure… I think this bed is a touch creepy – You never know what is lurking around those curtains ))shudders((

from dark hells hounds with murderous intent… That is quite some imagery you got there. You capture the agony effortlessly!
Thank you – the one positive side of being awake at 3am!!!
Insomnia is not an issue for me…but a bed like that might make it one! My daughter, on the other hand, suffers from that malady…well said!
Thank you – I agree that bed looks a little creepy for me too!! 🙂
