She looks in the mirror,
and stares in the glass.
Memories visual,
the haunting has passed.
Recalling events,
reflected in front,
and wonders quite simply,
when did I become?

I look in the mirror,
and what do I see?
A face staring back,
that’s simply not me.
I open my heart,
and what do I find?
A limitless space,
compassionate and kind.
I open my mouth,
and what tumbles out?
Harmonious words,
with truth and no doubt.
I search in my head,
what goes on in there?
A radiant mind,
pure, like clear mountain air.
