In the midst of life

we are in death

clinging to tracts

as we let go of breath

Slowly, silently,

now the moon,

eclipses all but you,

reclining in serendipity’s arms,

as diamonds glinting

eyes of stars,

fledglings nesting

in my heart,

and nought can

sever souls

apart

Of what do I dream,

when I close my eyes?

I dream of the sea

and the star filled skies.

From constellations above

I would fashion a crown;

a cloak from the sea

matches my moonbeam gown.

I roam in the heavens

with Arianrod and Aether.

I swim in the oceans

with Nereides beneath.

With heartbroken Sirens,

sing laments to the seas.

With Aquilo the wind

I sing songs in the breeze.

When I close my eyes,

to this earth I’m not bound.

Neither time nor dimension

can tie this soul down.

A View of Earth from Saturn

Sapphire seas,

tourmaline trees,

the sun shining sweetest nectar.

I soar in the skies,

whilst skimming the seas,

protected by Isis and Hector.

The stars line the way,

whilst the trees bow to me,

and the gulls cry out jubilations!

Old Father Time and Mother Earth smiles,

as the world spins in sweet salvation.
