How can you live,

and never question,

stories concocted,

by media suggestion?

 

I struggle to see,

how this is right,

an injured world,

can’t sleep at night.

 

Journalists quick,

to make a buck,

from someone’s misfortunes,

or tragic bad luck.

 

Magazine trash,

knows the score,

dishing out scandal,

Lies, misery, and more.

 

Governments depict,

skewed stories suspect,

maintain and inflame,

continued conflict.

 

All life is precious,

for us to squander,

time and energy,

on false propaganda.
