Of what do I dream?
I dream of the Peaks,
a cosy warm cottage,
for solitary weeks.
A welcoming hearth,
and an open fire,
somewhere to sit,
and dream of the โshire.
A handsome oak bureau,
where I sit and write,
with an old lattice window,
to gaze at the night.
An old chiming clock,
to signal the end,
and an old scruffy dog,
as my one faithful friend.
Of what do I dream?
I dream of the Peaks,
a cosy warm cottage,
for solitary weeks

That pretty much resembles my dream… ๐
I think it will be the dream of may a writer, poet, artist, musician!!
love it–ah, a warming hearth
Yes! Somewhere to toast your toes ๐
I dream of peace!
That is a very good dream ๐
Nice dream
Thank you ๐
I’d like to take a moment to compliment your hypnotic cadence, which is found in much of your poetry!
Thank you Resa! Some poems naturally lend themselves to it and others have their own ideas!! ๐
Sounds so delicious.
Move in next door!
