2544387679_d8a3b8b67bI have a secret

that you’ll never know

I’ll take to my grave

when hell’s covered in snow

I’ll never tell

not even my friend

I’ll keep it with me

to the bitter end

I know you may ask

well what could it be

it may drive you mad

cat’s curiosity

I have a secret

that you’ll never know

I’ll take to my grave

when hell’s covered in snow

Trem de madeira - HDR

In the attic corner,

long forgotten, hidden,

cardboard box calling

secrets forbidden?

A blue teddy rattle,

and a carved wooden train,

toys of a bygone,

buried like pain.

You said they were mine,

then you threw them away,

history hiding,

a game that you’d play.

I ponder that day,

reminiscing the past,

of the train and the rattle,

who played with them last?
