I do not want,
this day to end,
it’s been the best,
I can’t pretend -
not many come,
like this to me,
it usually ends,
in misery…
but now I feel,
just like a Queen.
I’m happier now,
than I’ve ever been!

When you feel the emotions as you write you know the reader will feel it too. Or so I hope.
I agree! When one someone contacts me and says one of my poems touched them, I feel a mixture of gratitude and success – unless I have reduced them to tears and then I feel a little bit guilty
